Because I’m asked all the time: Where to buy a Palestinian-made keffiyeh: Palestine Fair Trade Alliance
Product description:

This is a traditional unisex Palestinian scarf - a keffiyeh, kufiya or hattah - made in the last remaining factory to produce them in Hebron. This authentic keffiyeh is comfortable, well-made, and a fashionable way to express solidarity. These are made with a blend of 90% cotton and 10% poly, measuring 48” x 48”. We also have keffiyehs available in red and white. These are also produced in Yasser Hirbawi’s factory, the last one in Palestine. If you find it for less, chances are good that it was made in China or somewhere similar. For a background on the Hirbawi factory, please watch this short video. All of our products are traded fairly directly with producers in the West Bank. Please feel free to contact us directly about multiple orders, gift shipping or any other question you may have.

Please note: Wearing a keffiyeh is a political statement expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine, not a fashion statement. Wearing keffiyehs for reasons other than showing support for Palestine is considered extremely disrespectful, insulting to the Palestinian struggle, and an act of cultural appropriation. In the Middle East, different colored keffiyehs are worn in a number of different styles, largely corresponding to regional cultural influences. However, it is strongly encouraged that individuals from all over the world do what they can to show solidarity with the people of Palestine and openly support their liberation movement.
